Let the celebration begin!

Since 1840, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has empowered students to aspire higher. For generations, this transformative educational experience has encouraged students to dream big, to set their course, to engage their hearts and spirits and to exceed their own expectations.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, a coeducational Catholic, liberal arts college, begins its yearlong celebration leading up to the 175th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the College and its founding body, the Sisters of Providence, launched a yearlong series of programs and activities, beginning in October 2014. The anniversary year, Rooted for Tomorrow, also included various events in conjunction with the Sisters of Providence.
